Mail on iPhone
iPhone Mail has limited rich HTML signature support. Desktop or provider configuration is often required.
Before you begin
- Copy the latest formatted signature from Memo - Use Copy latest signature before pasting into your email client.
- Use a supported desktop browser for rich paste - Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge usually preserve formatting best.

Understand mobile limitations
Rich formatting support is limited on iPhone Mail.
Step 2
Configure through your account provider when possible
Use iCloud, Gmail, or Outlook desktop or web settings when sync exists.
Step 3
Open Settings
On iPhone, open Settings, then Mail, then Signature if available for the account type.
Step 4
Copy mobile text signature
Use the plain-text fallback for per-device signatures.
Step 5
Send a test message
Verify line breaks and links on a new message.
Known limitations
- Rich formatting is limited - Images and tables may not persist reliably on iPhone Mail.
