Generic desktop email client
Use this path when your client accepts formatted paste, raw HTML, or plain text.
Before you begin
- Copy the latest formatted signature from Memo - Use Copy latest signature before pasting into your email client.
- Use a supported desktop browser for rich paste - Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge usually preserve formatting best.
Steps
Step 1
Choose what your client accepts
Try formatted paste first, then raw HTML, then plain text.
Step 2
Copy the appropriate export
Use Copy latest signature, Copy HTML, or Copy plain text from Memo.
Step 3
Open signature settings
Create a new signature in your email client.
Step 4
Paste and save
Paste into the signature editor and save changes.
Step 5
Send a test message
Verify images, links, and spacing in a message to yourself.
Known limitations
- Client behavior varies - Consult your provider current documentation if formatting is stripped.

- Role or title appears
- Logo or headshot appears

- Spacing looks reasonable
