Versions and Approvals
Create immutable versions
Snapshot a design so it can be reviewed, approved, and exported.
Who this is for: Editors preparing work for review.
Last updated
A version is an immutable snapshot of a template’s document at a point in time, identified by a server-computed content hash. Versions are what you review, approve, and export - drafts keep changing, versions do not.
- Create a version from the current draft when it’s ready for review.
- Versions are append-only; they are never edited in place.
- Restore a past version as a new draft to branch from it (Memo also captures a recovery snapshot).
Expected result
You have an immutable version ready to submit for review.
