# Why will Memo not save my changes?

What to check when autosave isn’t completing.

## Symptom

Your edits don’t appear to persist, or save shows an error state.

## Cause

Saving can stall if your connection drops, if your session expired, if your role no longer permits edits, or if someone else changed the document at the same time (a concurrency conflict).

## Resolution

1. Check your connection, then try a manual save.
2. If you were signed out, sign back in and reopen the template.
3. Confirm you still have editor access to the workspace.
4. If a conflict is reported, follow the conflict recovery steps.
