# Why is preflight blocking my email?

Understand blocking findings and how to clear them.

## Symptom

Approval, export, or test send is blocked with preflight findings.

## Cause

Preflight gates approval, export, and test send, and it fails closed. A blocking finding - such as an unresolved variable, a broken link, a missing image alt, or oversized markup - must be resolved before the version can move forward.

## Resolution

1. Open the preflight report and read each blocking finding’s evidence.
2. Fix the underlying issue in the editor.
3. Create a new version (or re-check) so passing status is recomputed.
