# Why can I not select a sender identity?

A verified sender is required for test sends.

## Symptom

No sender identity is available to choose for a test send.

## Cause

Test sends require a verified sender identity in the workspace. If none is verified, there’s nothing to select.

## Resolution

- Add a sender identity in your workspace and complete verification.
- Ask a workspace admin to set one up if you don’t have permission.
