# Why can I not export a version?

Export requires an approved, preflight-passing version.

## Symptom

The export action is unavailable for a version.

## Cause

- The version isn’t approved yet.
- Preflight hasn’t passed for this version.
- Your role doesn’t include export permission.

## Resolution

- Get the version approved by a reviewer.
- Clear any blocking preflight findings.
- Ask an admin about export permission if needed.
