# I was invited but cannot join

What to do when an invitation does not work.

## Symptom

Your invitation link doesn’t work, or it says it’s no longer valid.

## Cause

Invitations are single-use and expire for security. A link that was already used, revoked, or has passed its expiry won’t let you join.

## Resolution

- Ask the admin who invited you to send a fresh invitation.
- Make sure you’re signed in with the email the invite was sent to.
- Open the most recent invite link, not an older one.
