# Use video, table, and countdown blocks

Add click-to-play video, structured tables, and deadline timers to a campaign.

**Who this is for:** Editors building promotional or informational emails.

Memo includes three media blocks for common campaign patterns: **Video**, **Table**, and **Countdown**. Insert them from the slash menu (`/video`, `/table`, `/countdown`) or from starter blocks in your workspace library.

## Video block

Video blocks are **click-to-play** previews - recipients tap a thumbnail and open the destination you configure (for example a landing page or hosted player). Memo does not embed autoplay video inside the email body.

- Set a destination URL and optional thumbnail image.
- Add headline, body copy, and a call-to-action label.
- Always provide meaningful alt text for the preview image.

## Table block

Table blocks render email-safe grids for pricing, comparisons, schedules, and summaries. Choose a preset or paste CSV/TSV data, then tune mobile behavior (stacked cards, compact rows, or label/value pairs).

## Countdown block

Countdown blocks highlight a deadline with a banner layout, a static timer snapshot, or - on eligible plans - a **live image** that updates when the message is opened. Static snapshots show the time remaining when the email was rendered; they do not tick forward after send.

> You are responsible for deadline accuracy, timezone selection, and promotional disclosures. Memo Check flags missing destinations, alt text, and other common issues before export.

## Expected result

You can insert and configure video, table, and countdown blocks in a campaign.
