# Save reusable blocks from the editor

Highlight a section in the canvas and save it to your workspace block library.

**Who this is for:** Editors building a reusable parts cabinet.

When a header, hero, or product row works well once, save it as a **workspace block** so every template can reuse it without copying from old emails.

1. **Select content** - Highlight the section you want to reuse, or place your cursor inside a single block.
2. **Open Save block** - Click **Save block** in the editor toolbar.
3. **Name and categorize** - Give the block a clear name, pick a category, and optionally add a short description.
4. **Insert elsewhere** - Find the block under Workspace in the blocks panel and insert it into any template.

> Saved blocks are copies of structure only - they do not sync back into templates where you already inserted them.

## Expected result

Your team builds a workspace parts cabinet from real campaign work.
