# Manage sender identities

Set up the verified sender used for controlled test sends.

**Who this is for:** Workspace admins enabling test sends.

A **sender identity** is the verified from-address used for controlled internal test sends. Test sends require a verified sender; this keeps QA delivery legitimate and contained.

- Add and manage sender identities in your workspace.
- A sender must be verified before it can be used for a test send.
- Sender identities are scoped to the workspace.

## Expected result

A verified sender is available for test sends.
