# Export approved email output

Export clean HTML and plain text from an approved version.

**Who this is for:** Editors handing off finished designs.

Memo compiles a single source of truth into HTML and deterministic plain text. You can export an approved version as HTML, plain text, or a bundle (`email.html` + `email.txt` + `manifest.json`) with provenance.

- Export requires an approved version that has passed preflight.
- The same compiler powers preview, export, and test send, so what you review is what you export.
- Export history records what was produced and when.
