# Create your first workspace

Set up your organization and first workspace during onboarding.

**Who this is for:** New account owners setting up Memo for a team.

When you first sign in, Memo walks you through creating an **organization** (your company or team) and your first **workspace** (where a team’s templates, Brand Kits, and blocks live).

1. **Sign in** - Create an account and complete sign-in.
2. **Name your organization** - This is the top-level container for your team’s billing and membership.
3. **Create your first workspace** - Workspaces scope your templates, Brand Kits, reusable blocks, sender identities, and preview data.
4. **Land in the app** - You arrive at your workspace overview, ready to create a template or explore the starter library.

> You can create additional workspaces later and switch between them. Access is always scoped to the workspace you’re in.

## Expected result

You have an organization and a workspace, and you’re in the app.
